MP4 players allows users to not only listen to their favorite songs, but you can watch your favorite movies, TV shows, music videos along with mp3 songs. The most popular gadgets supporting MP4 are iPod, iPhone, PSP, PS3, Archos, iRiver PMP, Creative Zen and Apple TV (720P HD), and IPad.

I own several MP4 players myself including Ipod, Iphone, PSP, and PS3. This is why I started searching the internet for MP4 downloads. I have to admit that I was pretty surprised when I noticed that ALL big download sites do NOT offer MP4 downloads. You will find that movies are almost always in MPEG, Avi, WMV etc. format, but NOT in MP4.

I found some MP4 download sites which only offered some videos, but no full length movies or other stuff worth downloading.

I also came across some scam sites on which I was told to “click here to download movie X”. But when I clicked on it nothing actually happened.

I also had a closer look at P2P and Torrent sites. Yiiiikes! Believe me…. I’ll never do it again. After spending hours getting familiar with the way Bitorrent and P2P works, I was finally able to download a MP4 movie. After download was completed, I scanned it for viruses…. just to make sure and guess what, it was infected.

I did some reasearch and found out that Bitorrrent and P2P sites are the major place on the net used by hackers to spread viruses. Bitorrent sites and P2P file sharing networks are not scanned for viruses. Everyone can upload whatever they want. In this way viruses spread extremely fast. So …. stay away!

You should also note that most files offered at P2P networks are pirated. I am sure you do not want to end up in jail, just because of downloading some movies, do you?

So what did I do to get th emost out of my MP4 Players?
